FAQ
Are all of your pieces handmade?
Yes! Every piece of décor we sell is handcrafted with real oyster shells, making each one completely unique.
Where do you source your oyster shells?
We locally source our shells right here in the Lowcountry. We are partnered with local Charleston establishments to help recycle shells that would otherwise end up in landfills, giving them new life as timeless coastal décor.
Do you take custom orders?
Absolutely! We offer full customization ranging in double-row designs, unique shapes and sizes, and personalized pieces for events. Share your vision with us, and we’ll bring it to life!
How long will my order take to ship?
Most pieces ship within 7-10 business days. Custom and larger items may take a little longer due to their detailed craftsmanship.
How do you prepare the oyster shells to ensure they are sanitized, odor-free, and long-lasting?
From the moment we collect each shell, it begins a 48-hour transformation. Every shell is sanitized, then hand-cleaned with a less abrasive cleanser to protect its natural texture. We then individually inspect and dry each one, finishing with a marine-grade sealant that preserves its beauty for years to come.
How do I hang my oyster shell mirror?
Our mirrors come with sturdy hanging hardware already attached. They are ready to go on your wall when they arrive. We recommend using a wall anchor or stud for larger mirrors.
Are oyster shell mirrors heavy?
Yes, they have some weight due to the shells and mirror base. We always design with secure hanging in mind and recommend professional installation for oversized mirrors.
What is your return policy
Because each piece is highly fragile, we do not accept returns. Safely repackaging and shipping oyster shell décor requires specialized materials and handling to prevent damage. If something arrives damaged, please contact us right away and we will make it right!
